USA TODAY High School Sports recently revealed the American Family Insurance All-USA preseason boys basketball team for the 2016-17 season, and Chalmette High School’s Mitchell Robinson is one of the twenty boys to make the team. Committed to Western Kentucky next fall, Robinson averaged 30.1 points and 11.2 rebounds last year and promises to have a strong season this winter.
Longtime head coach William Stockton is very excited about the upcoming season.
“The entire team has worked very hard during the last several months to prepare for what should be an exciting season. Mitchell’s dedication and commitment to the game has allowed him to be ranked among the elite players in the country, and I look forward to seeing how far we can go this winter,” he said.
