Greetings to the History Lecture Series Community. The fourth lecture of Nunez Community College’s History Lecture Series will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. The lecture will be given by Christina Vella, Ph.D., about “George Washington Carver.” Come explore his fascinating life: one that is filled with ingenuity, entrepreneurship, the development of over 2,000 products from waste materials, kidnapping, harassment, and a harrowing relationship never uncovered by his admirers. Our usual reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium lobby. As always, the lectures are free and open to the public. If you have any questions, please contact Michele Minor at 504-278-6422.
