The following students were named Terrific Teens at SBM: Ava Adams, Jordan Alfonso, Hailey Barrow, E'sinenei Barthelemy, Alivia Battle, Kayla Billiot, Bryson Brown, Marissa Casanova, Kierstyn Clark, Abigail Correa-Cruz, Brianna Dore', Aliyah Espiritu, Allison Fletcher, Justin Frazier, Lindsey Gallardo, Ma'kyla Green, Joshua Hebert, Tyler Jackson, Alyssa Laurente, Samantha Mahler, Austin Montelongo, Isaac Polly, Jaycee Ramirez, Nathalia Robertson, Alexys Smith, Karl Stechmann, and Desmonae Williams.
St. Bernard Middle recently held a ceremony to honor those students who were chosen as Terrific Teens for the second semester. The program is sponsored by the St. Bernard Kiwanis Club with Dr. Donald Duplantier as its representative and Chalmette Refining, LLC with Dorothy Hills, Public Affairs Coordinator, as its representative.
Students are nominated by their teachers and must possess qualities such as school involvement, participation, and model behavior.
