Noemie Vinsanau Ducros passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the age of 98. She was the beloved wife of 76 years to the late Peter McGuire Ducros. She was born on September 10, 1918 in Chalmette, LA to the late Louis M. and Alice D. Vinsanau. She was preceded in death by her sister Bertha Martin, her brother Maurice Vinsanau Sr., and nephews Maurice Vinsanau Jr. and Bill Peters. She is survived and fondly remembered by nephews Michael Vinsanau Sr. (Leah), Glenn Martin (Tanya), her nieces Charlene Rouse (Joel), Alice Martin, along with numerous great nieces, great nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, April 19th from 10:00 a.m. – noon, followed by a funeral Mass in Noemie’s memory beginning at noon.
She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
