NARFE Louisiana Federation of Chapters State Convention

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) Louisiana Federation of Chapters held its 48th State Convention on April 4-5 at the Days Inn Gretna. One of the major objectives of the convention was to discuss ways of ensuring that active federal employees realize they are NARFE eligible too. NARFE is the only organization whose mission is to preserve the pay and benefits of ALL federal employees and their spouses. Pictured attending from Chapter 1398 (St. Bernard) is back row: Mike Bendich, Ellen Barrois, Pam Marks, and Lee Oelking; front row: Laura Napolitano, Sylvia Keller, Helen Landry, Kim Janneck, and John Catalanotte. Not only was Chapter 1398 recognized for recruiting, with Ms. Janneck taking the prestigious award for most new members – 12, but their own Ms. Barrois was elected as the Louisiana Federation of Chapters District 3 Vice President. Chapter 1398 conducts its regular meetings on the second Wednesday of every month. If you’re an active federal employee or a retired federal employee, please consider joining us.
