Lovena Frances Bellamy passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the age of 86. She was the cherished companion of Martin Campo. Beloved wife of the late Roy C. Bellamy. Loving mother of Carol Bellamy Migliore (Gary) and the late Shirley Ann Bellamy Engelhardt (Rodney). Daughter of the late Richard and Angelina Vaccaro Cavillier. Proud grandmother of Sherie Migliore (Vincent Treme), Gary Migliore (Stacy), Roy Migliore (Michele), Shelia Cunningham (Kerry), Dawn Hammer (Paul) and Christy Engelhardt. Great grandmother of Michael Chagnard, Brandon Chagnard (Brittany), Santo Chagnard, Joseph Chagnard, Kimberly Chagnard, Faith Ann Migliore, Gary Migliore Jr., Abigail Migliore, Roy Migliore Jr., Charlie Migliore, Sarah Migliore, Randy D’Antoni, Eric D’Antoni, Tyler Dupre and Ava Cunningham. Great-great grandmother of Brandon Chagnard Jr.
Lovena was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was a dedicated and loving mother and friend to many. She will be deeply missed by all who were touched by her love, kindness, laughter and compassion.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, April 26th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass that began at 11:00 a.m. She was laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
