Joseph “Joe Cat” Nucaso Catalano, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Slidell, LA, on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the age of 63 years young. He was an accomplished Jockey and lifelong Horseman. He was the loving son of the late Bernadine C. Catalano and the late Joseph N. Catalano, Sr. and Carol Catalano. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Cazmen Cazenave, and his sister, Antoinette Catalano.
He is survived by his children Joseph N. Catalano, III and Sandra Catalano; Crystal Catalano and Adrian Cazenave, Jr.; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Chazden and Cash Cazenave and Jacy Catalano. His siblings, JoAnn Catalano, Wayne Catalano (Renee), Carmella Rodi (Paul), David Noble (Karen), Regina Showalter (Randy) and Kelly Robichaux (Jeff). There is much love left by “Brother” for his loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a memorial Mass on May 16, 2017, 10:00 a.m. to noon, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Rd, Chalmette, LA 70043.
