St. Bernard Parish Animal Services will hold a Rabies and Microchip Drive on Saturday, May 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The drive will take place at the Shelter located at 5455 E. Judge Perez Drive in Violet. The cost is $15.00 per animal (cash only)
All dogs must be on a leash and all cats must be in a pet taxi or cat carrier (no cardboard boxes). For more information contact Animal Services at (504) 278-1534.
Parish and state laws require dogs and cats to receive a rabies vaccination every year and with the approaching hurricane season it is important to have your pets current on their vaccinations in case of hurricane evacuation.
