Raymond Clarence Raspino Jr. passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the age of 60. He was the beloved son of the late Raymond Clarence Raspino Sr. and Janice Berggren Raspino. Loving brother of Kay Raspino Thomas (Greg), Amy Raspino, Paula Raspino Hux (the late Troy), Andrew Raspino (Lisa Barton), Franklin Raspino, Adam Raspino and the late Pamela Raspino and Janice Theresa Raspino. Devoted uncle of Andrew Raspino Jr., Samuel Raspino, Olivia Hux, Dominick Thomas and Zachary Raspino. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many cousins, relatives and dear friends.
Raymond was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA before settling in Mandeville, LA. He was an excellent photographer, an avid reader of celebrity biographies, enjoyed classic movies and laughing at old comedies. He was well loved, and affectionately known for his good nature and generous heart. He will be deeply missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, May 30th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., followed by a funeral Mass in Raymond’s memory beginning at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
