Patricia Ann Kelly Thomas passed away peacefully on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the age of 72. She was the beloved mother of Lori Cavalier (Gary) and the late Michael Joseph Thomas. Daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Edgecombe Kelly. Devoted sister of B. Katherine Kelly Sagrera (Ralph, M.D.) and Joseph Perez Kelly Jr. (Betty). Proud grandmother of Gary Jude Cavalier. Loving aunt of Tracy Fife, Holly Gab, Cory Melancon, Jason Kelly, Jonathan Kelly and Jennifer Kelly. Beloved Nanny-Gran of Dowen, Bayleigh, Lucy and Luke. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many cousins, relatives, dear friends and her beloved pets, Weezer, Rags and Zazu.
Patricia was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She was a member of the Council on Aging and enjoyed antiques, bingo, gardening, music and theater. She lived and enjoyed life through simple pleasures, especially spending time with her friends and family. She was well loved and affectionately known for her good nature and generous heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Sunday, June 4th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service in Patricia’s memory beginning at 3:00 p.m. Her burial will be private.
Following services, family and friends are invited to a catered reception in the Magnolia Room of St. Bernard Memorial.
