The first lecture in this year’s Nunez History Lecture Series will be held on Monday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium, located in the Art, Science, and Technology (AST) Building on Nunez Community College’s campus. A wine and cheese reception will be held in advance of the lecture at 6:30 p.m. in the music room, also located in the AST Building.
The topic of the lecture is Women on the Move: Ursulines in New Orleans. It will be presented by Dr. Emilie Gagnet Leumas. The Nunez History Lecture Series is generously sponsored by the Arlene and Joseph Meraux Charitable Foundation and the Great New Orleans ExxonMobil Fund. All lectures are free and open to the public.
