Frank Edmond Cavalier

Frank “Frankie” Edmond Cavalier passed away at his home in Mandeville, LA at the age of 70. Frankie was born on the 25th of June, 1947 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Amelia Olivia Miller Cavalier and Frank Seagle Cavalier. He is brother to the late Janice Cavalier January. He is survived and fondly remembered by his sister, Lydia Cavalier Gagnard; cousin, Deborah Moulin Wimer; nieces, Jill January Ancalade Poche and Dana Gagnard Avila; nephews, George Daniel January, Jr. and Craig Raymond Gagnard. He is the Godchild of Bernice Peuler. Frankie also has great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, family members and many friends.

In his spare time Frankie enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, poker and spending time with his wonderful, loving, loyal, and caring Sister, Lydia Gagnard and Cousin Deborah “Debbie” Wimer, putting puzzles together and talking. He was well loved and affectionately known for his good nature and generous heart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, September 8th from 10:00 a.m. – noon, followed by a celebration of Frankie’s life beginning at noon. He will be laid to rest in St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery No. 3.
