St. Bernard Parish Library’s Tales on Tuesday

Everyone is invited to visit the St. Bernard Parish Library as it begins its fall session of Tales on Tuesdays. This free story program will run from September 19th through December 12th. Two sessions of Tales on Tuesdays will be held each week for children 3 years of age and older. The earlier time is set for 1 p.m. and is geared for younger listeners. The evening session will begin at 5:30 p.m. and is open to children of all ages, but will target school-aged children. All story programs will take place at the St. Bernard Parish Library’s main branch, located at 2600 Palmisano Blvd., in Chalmette. Sessions will run about 45 minutes and will introduce children to literature through storybooks, poetry, flannel boards, finger plays, and participatory activities.
