Sheriff James Pohlmann addressed NARFE St. Bernard Chapter 1398 monthly meeting on September 13, 2017. He spoke of the growth and improvements the parish continues to see, as well as the challenges we still face and the need for everyone to be involved.
At the same meeting, Chapter Treasurer Sylvia Keller presented a check for $300 in donations received from our chapter members to Alzheimer’s Coordinator Helen Landry and Chapter President Michael Bendich. One hundred percent of all funds NARFE members contribute goes directly to Alzheimer’s research. As of June 30, 2017, $12,355,786 had been donated nationwide.
