The St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department kicked off the 2017 Football and Volleyball Season with a Jamboree. Volleyball games were hosted at Arabi Middle School and Carolyn Park. The girl’s teams ranged in ages from 5-8 and 9-14. The weather was overcast and that made it a perfect day for football. Kenilworth Knights hosted the first games with 5 and 6 year olds, 7 and 8 year olds and the 9 and 10 year olds finishing off the day. The Jamboree games were for fun for all as teams prepared themselves for the regular season.
