Students in St. Bernard Parish Public Schools participated in the Special Olympics at Chalmette High School on Friday, March 9, 2018. Joseph Davies Elementary School 5th grader, Tyshae Brady, carried the torch and led the parade at the start of the games! Tyshae has looked forward to this honor for weeks! Students at Joseph Davies crowded the halls and cheered her on as she left school and headed to the games at Chalmette High School.
Tyshae Brady is a friendly 5th grader with an infectious bubbly personality. She is often seen helping other students or teachers and regularly gives high-fives in the school hallways. She consistently tells her peers that she is proud of them and encourages other the “keep up the good work”. Her character is one of simple unselfish affection and enthusiasm. She is also a very hard worker who always tries her best.
Tyshae often expresses her desire to work at Davies Elementary when she grows up.
