The Chalmette High School Alumni Association will hold its spring general membership meeting on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at 6:15 p.m. in the tech theater located in the Chalmette High School Cultural Arts Building on Palmisano Blvd. On the agenda will be upcoming activities of the Association. Following the meeting, please join us for the CHS Jazz Band’s concert in the Cultural Arts Center at 7:00 p.m.
The Alumni Association hosts two major fundraisers each year with the proceeds going to the direct benefit of student programs and scholarships. The annual Fishing Rodeo will take place on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the Hopedale Marina. The fee is $30 for adults and $20 for kids. The Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the Oak Harbor Golf Course in Slidell. For additional information please call tournament chairmen Paul Granberry at 504-818-8932 or David Fernandez at 504-302-2000.
The Association’s membership drive is an ongoing process. Dues are $10 per membership year. You may join or renew your membership at the meeting; but if you cannot attend, simply mail your dues to the CHS Alumni Association, c/o Chalmette High School, 1100 E. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, LA 70043. Checks should be made payable to CHSAA. You can download a membership form by visiting the school’s website at www.chs.sbpsb.org and clicking on the Alumni link. If you are unable to download this form, just be sure to include your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, and year graduated when mailing in your check.
