Andrew Jackson Middle School recently took first place in the JC Penney Sales for School Spirit competition. The store counted points from appliance purchases for the competition. This is the third year of the competition, which takes place twice a year, and Andrew Jackson is the first school in St. Bernard Parish to win. The school was presented with a trophy and a coffee pot for the faculty lounge.
