Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser and Keep Louisiana Beautiful will launch the largest litter removal effort in Louisiana – Love the Boot Week – on Friday, April 4, at 9:30 a.m. with a breakfast reception followed by the news conference at 10:30 a.m. Over 20,000 volunteers will participate in more than 1,000 cleanup and beautification events in all 64 parishes, removing hundreds of tons of litter from local communities during April 5-13, 2025. At the news conference, celebratory remarks will be provided by Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser, Keep Louisiana Beautiful, and partners.
