Saint Bernard Catholic Church announces its 21st annual Pumpkin Patch to be held October 15th – 30th, 2025, on the grounds of Saint Bernard Church, in Saint Bernard Catholic Cemetery, and in Iverson Hall, 2805 Bayou Road, St. Bernard, LA 70085. Admission is $3.00 per person; children two years and under are admitted free. Days and hours are as follows:
- Pre-booked school groups by reservation, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- General Public days and hours are Monday – Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Sunday, 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Visit historic Saint Bernard Catholic Church in its quaint, rural setting. Enjoy a free hayride which winds its way through historic St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, established in 1787, the oldest extant burial ground in the New Orleans region. Explore the box maze, ball patch, bean bag toss, and picnic on our lovely grounds. Snacks will be available for purchase from our concession stand. Select your favorite pumpkin and use your creativity to paint it. Browse our excellent craft booths.
Saint Bernard Catholic Church, established in 1785, was the first church established downriver from New Orleans. It is the mother church of all church parishes in St. Bernard and Plaquemines parishes. This program is an important fundraiser for the church.
