Randy Dexter Boleware passed away surrounded by family and friends on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. He was 64 years old. A native of Moselle, MS and longtime resident of Violet, LA. Beloved husband of 40 years to Brenda P. Boleware. Son of the late Harrison & Natalie Boleware. Brother of the late Betty Bell and Don Boleware.
Devoted father of Brad & Robert (Heather) Boleware, grandfather of Ella & Beau Boleware, father-in-law J.E. (Ted) Pourciau, sister-in-law Pat Pourciau, Brothers and sisters of Melvin (Jean), Aline (Bill), Maxine (Buddy), Jeffery (Mary), Tim, Virgil (Debbie), & Garry (Mona) Boleware. Survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Randy was a master craftsman/carpenter for over 40 years. He retired from Broadmoor, LLC after 36 years of service. Randy enjoyed turning blueprints into masterpieces whether it was residential, commercial or industrial. He loved his country getaway and riding his big red tractor. He adored his family and was always willing to help anyone with anything at anytime.
Family and friends were invited to attend the funeral service at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Sunday, April 9th. Visitation was on Sunday from 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with a celebration of Randy’s life beginning at 1:00 p.m. He was laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
