Marie LaFrance passed away at her home on Monday, April 17, 2017 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Harold LaFrance. Loving mother of David Kennedy (Vicki) and Trudy Guidroz (Ronnie). Daughter of the late Ignatius Giardina and Lillie Romano Giardina. Sister of the late Marion Hooks. Proud grandmother of Harold, Darryl, Cheryl and Jeanne. Great grandmother of Conner, Caroline, Brooke, Jade, Gage, and Gunner and nephew Al Hooks. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend a visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A funeral service began at 11:00 a.m. She was laid to rest in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna LA.
