Joseph Barone passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the age of 67. He was the beloved husband of Rose Mistretta Barone for 37 years. Loving father of Kristin Barone and Amber Barone Stevens (Clint). Son of the late Vincent Barone and Sallie Vallum Barone. Brother of Elizabeth Barone and Linda Barone Gros (Woody). Step grandfather of Rowan Stevens. He is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Joseph was born in New Orleans, LA on June 23, 1949 and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. He was a diehard LSU and Saints fan. Joseph will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends.
