Angelo Colombo

Angelo Colombo passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Monday, October 23, 2017, at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent Colombo and Vita Rose Bono Colombo; and 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Beverly Hauck Colombo; his sons, Darren Michael (Pamela) Colombo, and Dana Angelo (Betty) Colombo; 4 grandchildren, Caitlin Colombo, Cade Colombo, Daniel Colombo, and Jason Colombo; his brothers, Victor (Odette) Colombo, and Anthony (Anna) Colombo; and his sisters, Conchetta (Robert) Donnelly, and Virginia Puglis.

Angelo was born on November 28, 1933, in New Orleans, LA. He was a longtime resident of Chalmette, LA and a current resident of Picayune, MS. Angelo was a proud United States Army Veteran. He was a retired plumber/pipefitter and a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union No. 60. Angelo was a member of the Catholic faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
