Jeanne Ann Brouillette

Jeanne Ann Brouillette, our beloved daughter and sister was born on October 17, 1954, and passed away peacefully on October 25, 2017, at the age of 63.

Jeanne was born in New Orleans, LA to the late Ranton A. and the late Mary H. Brouillette.

Jeanne was not only the third of five daughters of Ranton and Mary, she was also a sister, granddaughter, niece, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and a dear friend of many! Her childhood and teenage years were spent growing up in Toca, including attending church every Sunday for Mass.  Jeanne graduated from Andrew Jackson High School where she excelled not only in academics but mastered playing the trumpet and every talent contest she entered. Jeanne proudly took first place for her beautiful singing voice. She attended Loyola University in New Orleans where she broadened her love of drawing and painting which she developed in her early years. Jeanne had a true penchant for art, especially when painting scenes from the French Quarter. With a few simple brush strokes, Jeanne could recreate a New Orleans courtyard or stairwell. She had an eye for color, detail, and texture that could rival famous artists.

Jeanne will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her sisters Dianne B. Delos Reyes (wife of the late Jesse), Debra B. Randazzo (wife of Anthony M.), Myra B. Faust (wife of Robert A.), Denise A. Brouillette, along with a host of nephews and nieces, and her great-nephews.

On behalf of Jeanne, her family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, sitters and individuals who took care of Jeanne for many years, and to St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home for the kindness you have shown our family. We would also like to thank Fr. Sal Galvez of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church for your spiritual guidance.

Jeanne, you will forever live in our hearts. We know God has blessed you. May you rest in the peace you have been given.

Jeanne was laid to rest in a private ceremony.
