The St. Bernard Art Guild exhibited an amazing array of 68 artworks at the St. Bernard Parish Council Chambers at its annual Spring Show. The show celebrated the creative works of artists from St. Bernard Parish and surrounding areas in two-dimensional paintings in watercolor, oil, watercolor, pastel, and collage, along with three-dimensional sculptures of wood, metal, natural findings, and clay.
The SBAG Spring 2023 show was judged by award-winning international artist Carol Scott. A special St. Bernard Theme award was judged by St. Bernard Parish School Board Member Rosiland White.
The following awards were presented at the SBAG Spring 2023 show.
Art Under Glass: 1st Early Birds Claire Pescay, 2nd Basking in the Morning Sun Barbara W. Hayes, 3rd Nanny Lori Noto, with Honorable Mentions Blurred Iris Lynn Battle, Swan Lake Claire Pescay, and Red Winged Black Bird Claire Pescay.

The Best of St. Bernard Theme was awarded to Where in da Parish by Darlene Fischer, and the Best of Show was awarded to Janet Attaway for Want a Bite?
